Hanging with great friends who I still love and hang with today.

After graduating valedictorian (ya, right), I spent a year at Grand Valley, two years at WMU then two more years at MSU. Five years = 20% smarter. I then moved to Southern CA, worked at a few ad agencies, ran an investment firm, had some success; kissed a few frogs. Then started Deutsch LA 20 years ago. It’s an ad agency. We had 6 people and one dick-head client who wouldn’t pay their bills. Since then, we’ve grown to 550 people with clients like VW, Target, Taco Bell, Dr Pepper, UBER, 7 Eleven, etc. We also have another 270 people in NY and a production company called Steelhead. We develop our own products, manage bands/artists, put on lots of events. But the thing I love most is my wife Gina and kids Cameron and Evan. And spending time at our cabin on Lake Leelanau. I’m obsessed with northern MI. People are so normal, the air is clean, there’s no traffic, everyone drives a F150/Silverado. And I can pee off my front porch any time of the day. Life is good.
